Less and More: Rethinking Resources

FutureEverything, Manchester’s prestigious city-wide ‘festival as laboratory’ returns from Wednesday 30 March - Saturday 2 April 2016 with the theme ‘Less and More’. Combining a large-scale cultural event – encompassing art, music and discussion – with new technology and playful social experiments, FutureEverything is a festival of art, ideas and invention casting an eye to the future.

CONFERENCE

A two-day conference for over 700 delegates from around the world will feature some of the most eminent practitioners and thinkers from the arenas of design, urbanism, art and academia, as well as a packed programme of workshops and fringe events. Subjects for discussion range from new materials for life and the creation of lab-grown meat, to how grassroots initiatives can change urban environments.
