We’re very excited to announce a new commission with Folksy, which is helping us rekindle our love for Britain’s rich heritage of arts and crafts, going back to the Aesthetic Movement in the nineteenth century, beautifully encapsulated at the recent Cult of Beauty Exhibition at the V & A.

Folksy is the UK’s biggest online marketplace for independently designed fashion, accessories, homeware, stationery and art – you name it. If it’s been beautifully crafted in Britain, it’ll be on Folksy.

Founded by James Boardwell – son of a local textile retailer, the site is about to enter a very exciting period of redesign to be revealed in November, together with Folksy Finds – the first ever arts and crafts collection of Folksy must haves, curated by the dedicated Folksy team based in their studio in Sheffield. We’ll be sending out press updates in the run up to the launch, so if you’d like to be on the list get in touch, or better still, come say hi at the British Library on 18th November, where James will tell you all about Folksy crafters and even give tips on how to set up your own shop.
