Malaria No More UK
Ladbury played a pivotal role in the launch of Malaria No More UK. We worked together to develop and maximise our global media strategy centred around mosquito net stunts with David Beckham and Andy Murray. Rebecca’s creative flair combined with her bespoke and tenacious approach to media relations helped deliver over 200 pieces of media coverage reaching a global audience of over 200 million.
We were first approached by Malaria No More to manage the media for the launch of the charity back in April 2009. The brief was to ensure the charity made the news agenda that day and to reach, not just the UK, but also Europe and beyond, in print, on TV, radio and online.
Since launch Ladbury continues to act as media consultant for the charity and works across a number of flagship projects from securing national coverage with music ambassador Youssou N‘Dour, to managing the press and digital as the receiving charity for I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, and overseeing the media for World Malaria Day.
