TIME’S UP UK collaborates with British animation talent, Diyala Muir for the #4PercentChallenge
To celebrate the momentous International Women's Day 2019, TIME’S UP UK collaborated with the very brilliant female illustrator Diyala Muir @diyala.muir who created this gif to push our #4PercentChallenge campaign forward - challenging those working in the film industry to commit to announcing a project with a female director on a feature film in the next 18 months #4PercentChallenge
Graduating from the Royal College of Art, Animation Programme in 2016, Diyala is a drawing-based animation artist using printmaking and observational drawing in her development process. She describes her animations as reflecting the chaotic inner world of the protagonists in a darkly comic and naive style.
She has worked with Channel 4 and DAZED as well as winning the highly acclaimed British Animations Award for Best Student Film. Find more of her brilliant work here http://diyalamuir.com/
