Partners for Prevention | UNDP
Ladbury PR delivered global media exposure for our project beyond our wildest expectations. With their expert preparation and training, our spokespeople were able to handle the toughest questions and consistently communicate our key messages on the complex issue of violence against women to a wide range of media around the world. I was thoroughly impressed with the professionalism, personal care and patience offered to us by Ladbury and highly recommend them to all my partners and associates.
Ladbury was commissioned by Partners for Prevention—on behalf of UNDP, UNFPA, UN Women and UNV – to lead on the communication strategy for and global roll out of The UN Multi-country Study on Men and Violence in Asia and the Pacific, which built knowledge on how masculinities relate to men’s perceptions and perpetration of gender-based violence, in order to prevent violence.
The study undertook cutting-edge research to understand the root causes of gender-based violence (GBV) and their relation to masculinities. Over 15,000 men and women were surveyed in seven countries across East Asia and The Pacific, providing a holistic picture of the social structures, underlying norms, attitudes and behaviours related to perpetration of GBV.
